A 41-year-old Cunupia man, described by police as a suspected drug dealer, was gunned down near his home on Thursday night.
Police said Sheldon “Shylo” Springer, was found dead with a gaping bullet wound to his forehead.
A photograph of Springer’s body was circulated on social media between Thursday night and yesterday.
Police said around 11.30 pm Springer’s wife reported that she heard gunshots outside the family’s Samaroo Trace, Welcome Road, home.
She contacted police who later found Springer’s body in some nearby bushes.
His killing has taken the murder toll 24 for the year.
