Man chopped over money fights for life
A Diego Martin labourer is fighting for his life at the San Fernando General Hospital after being chopped on the roadside at Princes Town on Monday night. Up to late yesterday, Kaselle Jarvis, 20, of North Coast Road, Diego Martin remained warded in a critical condition at Ward 4 of the institution. Police said Jarvis was standing at Nuckcheddy Road, when he got into an argument with a “fat dougla man” who owed him money. Jarvis told officers that when he asked for the money, the man pulled out a cutlass and began chopping him. He was rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency treatment. The suspect remains at large. Cpl Mc Intosh, of the Princes Town police station, is continuing investigations.
